Gradkowski to start for Raiders
Well, the Jason Campbell era didn’t last long in Oakland, did it? Benched at the half last week and apparently will sit this week against the Arizona Cardinals.
According to Jason La Canfora of NFL Network, Gradkowski will get the start this week.
“Raiders will start Bruce Gradkowski at QB this week, I’m told. More upcoming on NFL.com and NFL Network,” La Canfora tweets.
This can’t be good, and it’s one of the many reasons why the Raiders have been so awful since Rich Gannon retired. There is absolutely no stability at the QB position. If Jason Cambpell is your guy, give him a shot. If it’s Gradkowski, go for it. But stick with someone. These guys have no confidence that if they screw up they won’t be benched.
How many interceptions does Gradkowski have before he’s benched in favor of Campbell?
This has nothing to do with Interceptions. The offense was more productive this year and last year under Gradkowski.
Campbell needs m ore time than the O-line will give him. Gradkowski gets the ball out quicker. Against the Rams Gradkowski had a faster release Now I don't know if the plays in the second half were designed that way or not.
The team played with spark under Gradkowski that's why he will be starting its not a knock on Campbell they got different styles of play and Gradkowski style suits the Raiders now.
