Philadelphia Soul to host open tryouts

On October 30th, everyone’s favorite Philadelphia arena football team will be holding open player tryouts at the Philadelphia Eagles NovaCare Complex down by Lincoln Financial Field. Just to let everyone know in advance, I will be unable to attend as I will be on my honeymoon in the Bahamas.

Philadelphia Soul head coach Mike Hohensee and his staff will be on hand to evaluate all the players. Sit down there, Matt Stover. No kickers are being evaluated so you just cool it, ok?

You can go to the Soul’s official website to pre-register for $60. You can also register at the door for $80. Don’t forget that comes with a free t-shirt.

Players will be evaluated on their 40-yard time, broad jump and short shuttle with other position-specific drills and one-on-ones to come after that.

The odds of you becoming the next Kurt Warner are very high, so don’t miss out on your opportunity. But seriously, just get off your ass and do it. You know you hate your current job.
