Oklahoma St. WR Blackmon arrested for DUI
The wide receivers at Oklahoma State just continue to make their Dean proud. Last year, it was Dez Bryant who slipped in the NFL Draft due to concerns about his character.
This year? It’s star Justin Blackmon’s turn. Blackmon impressed everyone on campus Tuesday morning when he was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Carrolton, TX. He was doing 92 mph in a 60 mph zone, which demonstrated extremely high character.
In Texas, you can be arrested for even having a trace of alcohol on your breath if you are under 21 years of age. Blackmon is 20 and he was indeed arrested on this issue.
The proud university released a statement on the matter.
“Neither Blackmon nor OSU coach Mike Gundy can comment until the matter is resolved,” the statement said.
Actually, we are breaking balls. It’s not that big of a deal. It’s a fine-only offense and he’ll be looking at a $500 traffic ticket at most. It’s not like he was completely zonked out.
