Payton disputes WIST report on Brees

There was a recent report making the rounds regarding the health of New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees. Kenny Wilkerson of WIST radio said that his “impeccable” source told him that Brees was playing with a fracture and a torn meniscus in his left knee.

Consider head coach Sean Payton amongst those who ain’t buying the report.

He called the idea that Brees was hiding an injury “inaccurate” and “completely false.”

Remember that Payton isn’t one to be entirely forthcoming with injury information. But, that doesn’t mean that there is no truth to the report.

Bottom line? Brees keeps taking every practice snap and hasn’t missed any game time.

So who really gives a rat’s ass?
