Roof of the Metrodome collapsed

Wow, this is kind of scary. Multiple media outlets are reporting that the roof of the Metrodome in Minnesota has collapsed due to heavy snowfall. One would have to think that it’s quite a snowstorm, considering it’s Minnesota and the thing was probably built to handle snow.

The Giants were scheduled to play at the Vikings today, but they couldn’t get out of Kansas City because of the snowstorm in Minneapolis. The game was moved to Monday night, but….now what?

When the Giants were supposed to play in New Orleans in 2005 and the Superdome wasn’t ready, they moved the game to New Jersey and essentially gave the Giants an extra home game. We don’t know what they plan to do this time.
