Graham to IR with ACL tear

The Philadelphia Eagles got some bad news on their first-round defensive end Brandon Graham. He went down during the Dallas Cowboys game Sunday night and had to be carried off the field.

It turns out, he has a torn ACL and will be put on injured reserve. They haven’t said when he’ll have surgery, but Andy Reid said that Graham wants to have it done sooner rather than later so he can get going with his rehab.

This is a big setback for Graham, who had showed some flashes this season, but never fully came on. Now, he might not be able to really show what he can do until midway into next season. He’ll probably be back on the field for training camp, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be comfortable with the knee at that point.
