D-Bag of the Week: Tucker Carlson
FOX analyst Tucker Carlson was the genius guest host for Sean Hannity’s show on Tuesday night. On the show he stated, “I’m a Christian, I’ve made mistakes myself, I believe fervently in second chances, but Michael Vick killed dogs, and he did it in a heartless and cruel way. And I think, personally, he should of been executed for that.”
Really?!
He made the statement on Tuesday night in response to President Obama’s phone call to Eagles’ owner Jeffrey Lurie that praised the owner for giving Michael Vick a second chance.
I love how he justifies his statement and appeals to his audience by saying he’s a “Christian” before he makes his very un-Christian insight known to FOX Nation. I guess Carlson thinks Vick gets his second chance in heaven (if he gets in by Carlson’s standards) as he suggest he “believe[s] fervently in second chances.” Hey, asshole, you ever heard of purgatory?
Everyone knows that Carlson is a bombastic idiot that makes such statements for his own selfish purposes – AKA a media whore. Unfortunately, it’s obviously very calculated. The “dick,” as he was famously called by Jon Stewart on CNN‘s “Crossfire” in 2004, gains some distance from his religious affiliation by stating “personally” before making his execution portion of his statement – calculated stupidity at its best.
Hey Tucker, you’re really good at being smart, why don’t you try being stupid for a change?
Anyway, if Vick gets executed it should be for something important, like making three turnovers on Tuesday night against the Vikings, which cost me six points in my fantasy league championship game. I lost by five!

You know what's funny, Tony? The fact that the right wingers keep saying that Obama called Lurie to praise him for Vick. NO. Not true. He called to talk about the Eagles forward-thinking energy conservation efforts. He mentioned it when Vick came up in conversation.
Actually, I shouldn't blast the right for that. The entire media reported it that way.

Brilliant! An idiot who roots for rehabilitation to fail. Keep up the good work and maybe every one who ever made a mistake will, what a thought. Cheap theatrics at it;s best!

Tony, I love the use of Uncle Rich's famous quote: "Hey Tucker, you’re really good at being smart, why don’t you try being stupid for a change?" Priceless.
