Allen becomes all-time NBA leader in three pointers
Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen is an absolute machine when it comes to shooting the ball. There is no wasted motion and he’s so reliable from beyond the three-point arc, that you can set your watch to it.
Last night, after draining three more three balls, Allen became the NBA’s all-time leader in three-point shots made.
That’s pretty amazing when you think about it. That means that he’s scored more three bombs than NBA all-time greats such as Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlain and the legendary George Mikan.
OTR did some research on this. It turns out that – get ready for this – Allen has scored more three pointers than all of those guys combined! That’s when you know you are simply wet from behind the arc. That’s truly amazing company.
And just a side note on Russell: Talk about overrated, he never hit one three pointer in his career. Can you say “one dimensional?”
