Barber disturbs the peace

According to TMZ.com, Dallas Cowboys RB Marion Barber was detained by the LAPD early this morning at a Los Angeles hotel for “disturbing the peace.” As per usual, Barber went down easily after initial contact.

Barber was in town for the NBA All-Star game (good god, why?) and staying at the SLS Hotel. Apparently, he was having a little too much fun and the cops had to be called in. We still don’t know exactly what he was doing, but it was enough that the LAPD had to be called in for a little chat.

It should be known that Barber was not arrested, cited or charged with any crime. It seems like they just wanted him to knock off whatever it was that he was doing. He has agreed to check out of the hotel.
