Kearns rocks the party in Kentucky

AustinKearns 300x195 Kearns rocks the party in KentuckyRemember when Austin Kearns was supposed to be good? Yeah, we don’t either. It was like 2002 when he was with Cincinnati.

Now at 30-years old, he’s expected to be a part-time left fielder for the Cleveland Indians. Luckily, they don’t have enough talent to cut someone who screws up with the law, because that’s what happened to Kearns back in February.

The Indians announced Tuesday morning that Kearns was arrested for DUI in Lexington, Kentucky on February 12th, and that he has a court date set for March 10th.

Kearns is expected to stay in spring training during that and just send an attorney to handle it. But, do you have any idea what the penalty is in the state of Kentucky for DUI?! Well, we aren’t sure, but it’s probably pretty stiff.
