Dez keeps getting sued

We didn’t post anything on this initially and we’re glad we didn’t. Because every so many hours, we find out that yet another person is suing Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant. There is now a third lawsuit that has come to light that was filed back in January 2010. A property manager is suing for a little north of $3,000 for back rent and damages.

“He still has not paid us,” said property manager Bryce Campbell. “He will not answer our calls.”

Sounds like Dez is one awesome dude. Remember there was a reason he slid so far down in the first round and it had nothing to do with talent. If he’d been less of a douchebag, he’d have gotten more money higher in the draft and would have been able to afford all the jewelry he was given at Oklahoma St.

Speaking of jewelry, this little back rent lawsuit is nothing compared to what he owes a couple jewelers. Eleow Hunt just filed a lawsuit claiming that Bryant owes about $600,000 for jewelry, personal loans and sporting events.

This comes after another jeweler is suing Bryant for $246,000 for the same type of crap. Dez was apparently living the high life at Oklahoma St. and didn’t think he’d have to pay it back. Why do we believe that he didn’t think he’d have to pay it back?

Because his adviser David Wells said on a conference call that right now Dez “is in a dark place.” Really? Why? Are you shocked that people wanted to get paid back?

While none of this will hurt the Dallas Cowboys, who took a risk in drafting him, it does show the immaturity that led to his draft day freefall.
