Actually, if you’re really a Kansas City Royals fan, this is kind of exciting. Hosmer has been tearing the cover off of the ball in Triple-A and could be a nice addition to the team until he gets really good and then one of the real teams signs him as a free agent.

He was hitting .439 with three home runs in 118 plate appearances in Triple-A, so the Royals hope he can keep that going. He’s poised to make his first MLB start in the next day or so as far as you know.
