Rollins undergoes MRI, X-rays on knee
This isn’t good. The Philadelphia Phillies have had enough issues this season with their bats (they have 99 Problems but a Pitch Ain’t One?). They’ve urinated away great start after great start by their pitching staff and can’t afford to be losing any productivity on offense.
That’s what makes Jimmy Rollins’ injury so concerning. He left Saturday’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates with a leg issue and the swelling still hasn’t gone down.
“Rollins had MRI and x-ray today on right knee. X-rays negative. No results on MRI. Still has swelling. Don’t think it’s a DL situation yet,” Todd Zolecki tweeted.
Why do we have a feeling that a DL stint is on the way? Just a hunch.
