Pujols cleared to return…amazing!

St. Louis Cardinals 1B Albert Pujols suffered a fractured wrist a little more than two weeks ago. A standard time frame for recovery would be four weeks on the low end and six weeks on the high end.

So, call it a miracle that Pujols is able to return to the team now. Seriously.

“I’ve got confirmation that Albert Pujols was cleared by the doctor today and can return…,” tweets Brian Stull of ESPN 101 in St. Louis.

It’s unreal that he’s able to return already. However, one would have to think that he’s not going to be scorching hot right away. In fact, one could conclude that he’s rushing it a bit and that it’s risky for him to come back so soon.

Regardless, he’ll pick up where he left off with a .279 average to go with 17 bombs and 45 RBI’s.
