Sizemore has sports hernia surgery

Remember when we mentioned a day or so ago that Cleveland Indians OF Grady Sizemore had “a lot of concern“? Well, he’s got more things wrong with him than that. Jordan Bastian of MLB.com tweets that Sizemore had sports hernia surgery today.

“Sizemore underwent abdominal surgery on Thurs in Philadelphia to correct sports hernia. Recovery time is 4-6 weeks. More on mlb.com soon,” he tweets.

Apparently, the Indians figured he’d be lost four some four weeks because of the knee anyway that they might as well get it taken care of now. One would have to think that the Indians will be in the market for an outfielder as Sizemore is far from certain to return this season and actually play well.
