Report: DeSean will be a no show

We passed along some comments from Michael Vick yesterday where he said DeSean Jackson might not show up to camp on time. Jackson is in the final year of his rookie four-year deal and wants more money…duh.

Well, sources tell PhillySportsDaily.com that DeSean will not show up on Wednesday or Thursday.

He is set to make $565,000 this season, which will hardly support a lifestyle where he goes out and drops $25,000 a night at a club. DeSean needs money so he can grab a cocktail once in a while and live life! Don’t you people get it?!

We know he’s wanted more money for a while, and he does deserve it. I actually support Jackson as he’s been playing the good soldier (for the most part) for a couple years now when it’s been very clear that he’s an NFL stud. But, he can’t holdout forever. He needs to report to the Eagles by the 23rd day of the league year to get credit for his fourth year of service (to get unrestricted free agency), otherwise he’s right back where he is now next year.
