Benson suspended three games
You may remember the story during the lockout of Cincinnati Bengals RB Cedric Benson beating the crap out of a former roommate. He eventually took a plea deal and spent a few days in jail.
And apparently, Roger Goodell didn’t like it. Because, according to Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports, Benson is going to miss three games.
“I’ve learned that Bengals RB Cedric Benson was notified of a three-game suspension for player-conduct violations (during the lockout)…,” Silver tweets.
Didn’t think about that when you drafted him in your fantasy league, huh?
Benson will appeal on Tuesday, meaning that he can play this weekend. If he loses the appeal (he will), he’ll miss the following three games.
