Curry officially a bust?

In 2009, the Seattle Seahawks drafted Wake Forest LB Aaron Curry with the fourth-overall pick. They are most likely regretting that decision as he’s contributed next to nothing since he’s been on the team.

Someone in the Seahwaks organization noticed that he hasn’t done anything, because he’s lost his starting job. That’s right, K.J. Wright (who?) will now start in his linebacking spot.

“I don’t even know how to put it into words,” Curry said. “But it is what it is. … Everything happens for a reason. There’s a purpose behind everything, and I’ll find it and learn from it and take off running.

“It’s going to be interesting to see what happens on Sunday. All questions will be answered on Sunday really.”

Yeah we’ll see. We first wondered what the hell his deal was when we saw him in the preseason playing special teams on kick coverage. If you’re drafted that high and still playing special teams in the preseason three years later? Things probably aren’t working out.
