Manny wants to keep playing baseball
You may remember back in spring training that juiced-up slugger Manny Ramirez decided to suddenly retire from the Tampa Bay Rays. Why? Well, it seems that he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs again. Faced with a 100-game suspension (seriously, at what point does he just get banned?), he said screw it, I’ll just retire.
Well, now he’s having second thoughts and he still wants to play baseball if anyone will have him.

“I would comply with my pending sanction and I would be available for any major league team,” Manny told ESPNdeportes.com. “I already informed (agent) Scott Boras of my decision to return and begin the process. If any team wants to sign me, I would play. If no one does, I would look to play in Japan or any other place. I was not prepared for retirement.”
Manny will be 40-years old next May. Not only that, it’s clear that a lot of his insane slugging was due to PED’s. So, what would you really be getting with him? He’s still a headache that is lazy as hell in the outfield.
