Tebow stinks, Fox won’t commit to him as starter next week

TimTebow1 300x198 Tebow stinks, Fox wont commit to him as starter next weekThe raging debate regarding Tim Tebow is coming to an end rather quickly. As he left Florida, there were many people who said that this guy is a winner and he’ll continue to be a winner at the NFL level. Others pointed out his terrible mechanics and inconsistent passing as reasons why he would never be able to play QB at the pro level.

It’s looking like that latter group is going to be right.

You can’t just look at Tebow’s awful 56.8 passer rating in an excruciating loss to the Detroit Lions at home and judge him. You can’t just see the pick-six he threw or the three fumbles he put on the ground. You had to actually watch parts of the game to see how truly awful Tebow is.

The Lions were determined to make him play quarterback with their defensive strategy. They did, and he couldn’t.

Now, it’s to the point where John Fox, who messed up big time when he caved to fans begging for Tebow, won’t commit to him as his starting QB next week.

“Tonight on AXS at 10:35, John Fox says he’s not ready to name a starting QB for next week. Champ says this team is bad. Really bad,” tweets Vic Lombardi.

Who would he go with? Kyle Orton, who was terrible as a starter earlier this year? Or give Brady Quinn a shot? All of these guys sound like awful options. And they most likely are.

We can’t see the Tebow experiment lasting much longer in Denver. We can see them moving him to a new position this season to give it a shot, and then cutting him after the season if/when it doesn’t work out.
