Big news day in Seattle, huh? The Seattle Seahawks traded a second-round pick in 2010 and a third-round pick in 2011 to the San Diego Chargers in exchange for QB Charlie Whitehurst. The Seahawks then turned around and gave him $10 million over two years, according to Adam Schefter.

Maybe the Philadelphia Phillies knew what they were doing when they shipped Cliff Lee out of town. Ok, not really. But the Mariners’ Lee did get suspended for the first five games of the season after he threw at Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Chris Snyder on Monday.

The Oregon Ducks have decided to part ways with Ernie Kent after 13 years as men’s basketball coach.
Kent compiled a record of 235-173 becoming the Ducks winningest coach, but Oregon now sucks.
