A league source tells PFT that former Cleveland Browns WR Donte Stallworth is working out for the Detroit Lions. Surprisingly, the Lions could use a WR. Tough to imagine since they took them high in the first round in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2007. The Lions still have Bryant Johnson and Dennis Northcutt, but the [...]

In a move that should surprise no one, the Cleveland Browns have released troubled wide receiver Donte Stallworth. Stallworth was due a $1 million roster bonus in March and you just knew that wasn’t going to happen. He’s only 29 and can still contribute, but the Browns clearly don’t want the PR nightmare around. Look [...]

We aren’t sure what the Cleveland Browns aren’t seeing that everyone else in the 216 – and the entire country for that matter – does. Josh Cribbs does it all and he is woefully underpaid. You have a team that stinks with the exception of a few players. Cribbs is one of those few players. [...]

Cleveland Browns KR/RB/WR/QB/PR Joshua Cribbs thinks his time is over in Cleveland. He feels betrayed and rightfully so. He says he was promised a new contract a year or so ago. Didn’t happen. They he got some lame take-it-or-leave-it $1.4 million/year offer. OTR doesn’t blame him for feeling like his time in Cleveland is over. [...]

The unthinkable has happened. Cleveland Browns head coach Eric Mangini will be back as head coach of the Cleveland Browns. New football czar Mike Holmgren has decided that he did a good enough job to warrant a second chance. The four-game win streak to end the season probably helped quite a bit. “I’m happy to [...]

Jerome Harrison is amongst some elite company. Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, he went absolutely bonkos. Three times in the second half he ran for touchdowns on the way to racking up 286 yards on the ground. That’s right, we said Jerome Harrison ran for 286 yards. That’s good for third all-time for single-game [...]

There is a lot of talk (maybe too much talk) about the Cleveland Browns bringing in Mike Holmgren to be their football czar. Cleveland Browns head coach (for now) Eric Mangini said he’s considering converting his all-world, all-everything player Josh Cribbs into a traditional tailback. Cribbs already returns punts, kicks, covers kicks, runs out of the wildcat and catches passes, so it’s not like playing RB is beyond his scope of abilities.
